Why I Built Dapa.

My name is Isabela Lemos, and I founded Dapa because of a place. Dapa is a mountain community in the Colombian Andes — where I spent summers with my grandparents, learned to ride my first horse, and fell completely in love with the natural world. The cloud forest that rolls in every afternoon. The eucalyptus trees lining the roads. The farms and valleys of the Valle del Cauca. That place shaped everything about how I see the planet. When I discovered that small businesses around the world are being asked to measure and offset their carbon footprint — and that almost none of them have the tools to do it — I knew exactly what I wanted to build. Dapa exists to give every small business the same thing those mountains gave me — protection, accountability, and a reason to care about the world we're leaving behind. This is not just a software company. This is personal.
